Orthopedic Surgery Center in Baton Rouge Named One of the Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers in America

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – 10/23/2023 – The Orthopedic Surgery Center at the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge, located at 7301 Hennessey Blvd.,  has been recognized as one of America's best ambulatory surgery centers. This prestigious award, presented by Newsweek Magazine and organized by ASC and Statista, honors outstanding facilities that provide exceptional patient care and demonstrate excellence in surgical services.

Ambulatory surgery facilities have emerged as a key component of contemporary healthcare, offering patients access to popular surgical procedures including colonoscopies and cataract surgeries. With most treatments taking less time at these locations, patients can return home the same day. In contrast to more complex procedures carried out in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers provide simplified care with an emphasis on effectiveness and patient comfort.

Based on data from the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Newsweek evaluated and recognized ambulatory surgery centers in the 25 states with the greatest number of facilities, increasing the list to 550 this year. “We have divided the facilities in the remaining states into four regions: the Northeast, Midwest, West, and South. Our rankings are based on comprehensive study of the performance data of the facilities and suggestions from medical specialists,” says Newsweek Magazine.

Statista, a leading global market and consumer data provider, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of ambulatory surgery centers across the United States. The assessment encompassed various factors, including patient satisfaction, quality of care, safety standards, technological advancements, and overall performance. After an extensive review process, the Orthopedic Surgery Center in Baton Rouge emerged as one of the top-ranked centers in the nation.

This recognition highlights the commitment of the Orthopedic Surgery Center to deliver superior orthopedic care in Baton Rouge and its surrounding communities. The center's highly skilled surgeons, nurses, and support staff consistently strive to provide exceptional medical services, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology.
