General Orthopedics
Lindsey Thompson, FNP-C is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana where she attended Nicholls State University and graduated in Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. She worked in Thibodaux Emergency Room for 5 years while later achieving her Master of Science in Nursing in 2010 from University of South Alabama. To further satisfy her strong desire to work in orthopedics she began working in Selma, Alabama as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner where she gained knowledge and experience mostly in Traumatology in orthopedics for 18 months. After yearning to move back closer to her hometown, she began working at The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge in April 2012.
She is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She currently works full time under the supervision of
Dr. Murtagh and assist him as well as all other surgeons at the Bone and Joint Clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling with her husband and 2 children.
