Members of The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge administrative staff attended the first day of school at St. Joseph’s Academy this year. The start of the 2018 school year signified the launch of the 150-anniversary celebration of St. Joseph’s Academy, and an opportunity to unveil their new student center.
The new student center was designed to accommodate different events throughout the year and includes a multipurpose gymnasium, fitness room, pre-function lobby space, locker rooms, concessions, storage and connections to the existing campus buildings. The exterior of the new building is consistent in architectural style with existing St. Joseph Academy facilities.
The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge contributed to the funding of a first-class athletic training room within the student center which provides the perfect setting for high school students to learn about the field of sports medicine. The versatile design of the room allows for academic learning as well as real-time assessment and treatment.
“The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge is proud and honored to support the mission of St. Joeseph’s Academy,” said Mark Levert, CEO of The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge.
By envisioning and implementing new educational opportunities in the field of orthopedic medicine, The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge and St. Joseph’s Academy are providing young students with an unmatched and ideal environment for learning.
