Orthopedic Surgery Center at Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge Named Among America's Best by Newsweek

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – 10/19/2024 – The Orthopedic Surgery Center at the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge, located at 7301 Hennessey Blvd., has once again been recognized as one of America's best ambulatory surgery centers. This prestigious award, presented by Newsweek Magazine in partnership with global research firm Statista, honors outstanding facilities that provide exceptional patient care and demonstrate excellence in surgical services.

Ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) have become an essential part of modern healthcare, providing patients with convenient access to common procedures like hip, knee, and shoulder replacement. With many treatments completed in just a few hours, patients can return home the same day, enjoying faster recovery times. Ambulatory surgery centers focus on streamlined, efficient care with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and convenience. ASCs maintain high standards by focusing on sterilization, screening, and other infection control measures, leading to lower infection rates. Their exclusive focus on surgery allows for efficient resource use, which helps reduce costs for patients.

Statista, a leading global provider of market and consumer data, conducted an in-depth evaluation of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) across the U.S. to compile the prestigious list of the top 650 ASCs for 2025. This recognition highlights centers that excel in delivering high-quality care backed by strong performance data and peer recommendations. The rankings are based on four key data sources: a national survey of medical professionals, CMS quality measures, patient experience data, and accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

The Orthopedic Surgery Center's consistent recognition as a top Ambulatory Surgery Center is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional orthopedic care to Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities. With a team of highly skilled surgeons, nurses, and support staff, the center consistently provides top-tier medical services at its state-of-the-art surgery center located on-site at the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge, ensuring our patients feel confident and secure in their care.
