Trent Holmes Named Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge CEO

The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge (BJCBR) is proud to announce the appointment of Trent Holmes as Chief Executive Officer. This appointment came after a unanimous vote from the Board of Directors. Trent previously served as Chief Financial Officer, a position he held since starting with the practice in July of 2019.

Bone and Joint Clinic was started as Baton Rouge’s first orthopedic specialty clinic 75 years ago. It has since grown to include 5 locations and nearly 200 specialized employees, including 17 orthopedic, pain management, and podiatry specialists. The path to get here has been one that was well-planned and carefully executed, ensuring by design that the practice’s core values and quality of care never suffer.

When asked about preserving this history and carrying it into the future, Trent says, “The Bone and Joint Clinic is an institution in Baton Rouge. Our number one priority has always been to take care of patients and give them excellent care, and no matter what the future holds, the patient will always come first.”

For nearly four years, Trent has worked closely with BJCBR’s long-standing CEO, Mark Levert, in almost every aspect of administration. After a 34-year career at the helm of the practice, Mark is retiring with a legacy of exceptional care and hard work to ensure that the highest standards are consistently met for Bone and Joint staff, providers, and patients.

“Mark has always been a strong leader, and he has done an exceptional job leading Bone & Joint Clinic ” said Trent. He continued, “I’m honored to step into his shoes at this point in his career when he’s wanting to retire. It’s an honor for me to follow in the footsteps of such a respected leader.”

With Trent Holmes as CEO, The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge is confident that the right individual is in place to continue to lead the charge in south Louisiana orthopedic care for decades to come.
