BATON ROUGE, LA - The Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge is delighted to announce the expansion of its services to St. Francisville, Louisiana. Dr. Garon, a highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeon, will be seeing patients at The Daniel Clinic on the first Monday of every month, starting on Monday, June 5, 2023.


Dr. Garon brings an impressive background and expertise to the St. Francisville community. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. He then pursued his Medical Degree and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.


During his residency, Dr. Garon's dedication and excellence were recognized with numerous accolades. He was a three-time recipient of the OITE High Score Award, highlighting his commitment to academic excellence. In addition, he was honored with the James Albright Research Award, the Award for Outstanding Resident, and the International Pediatric Orthopaedic Symposium Scholarship. Dr. Garon's passion for professional growth led him to be selected to attend the prestigious AO Leadership Forum.


Further enhancing his skills and expertise, Dr. Garon completed a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center. He is extensively published in renowned medical journals, authoring journal articles, review articles, and book chapters. His contributions to research and literature reflect his dedication to advancing orthopaedic knowledge and patient care.


With a particular interest in microvascular surgery and disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, Dr. Garon is poised to provide exceptional care and comprehensive treatment options to the St. Francisville community.
